Yussef El Guindi was born in Egypt, raised in London, and is now based in Seattle. His work frequently examines the collision of ethnicities, cultures, and politics that face immigrants, particularly Arab and Muslim Americans. Yussef’s productions include People of the Book (ACT Theatre), The Talented Ones (Artists’ Rep Portland), and Threesome (Portland Center Stage). Bloomsbury/Methuen Drama recently published The Selected Works of Yussef El Guindi.
